I thought that I'd heard this before...I have. I commented in May 19, 2020. This still sounds as good as it did then. You are truly unique... Super talented.

Firstly, what a really lovely sound you have on your 12 string guitar. I no longer own an acoustic 12 string guitar. I never managed to make it sound any where as nice as yours sounds on this well produced recording. You write such fabulous story songs. I love the sound of your voice. Another beautiful sing-a-long song. 5 stars *****.

Song: MERLIN
Writing a song about a favourite guitar is a fabulous idea. You have sung this tribute to it so well. A fabulous song. Only you can do this kind of thing. The Ukranian spoken words are a nice idea that works so well in this lovely song.

The 12 string guitar sounds beautiful and has crispness and sparkle that everyone hopes to find on that instrument. What a lovely song.

cool track Alexis, missed this one till now - great composition and excellent vocals - you're right about all war, it's bad for sure and whether you're on the winning or losing side you're a pawn who's ordered to go here, there and everywhere until you're not...and that's generally only once someone's been declared a winner (my ancestors are from small town outside of Berlin and I have gone back as far as 1540 (the time of Henry VIII) researching them - my great great Grandfather left Hamburg, Germany in 1877, a considerable time before all hell broke loose in WWI&II).

beautiful tune and overall composition Alexis, well done! I remember the morning after the atrocity (it happened late into the evening before for us here) and I was talking to building folk in industry I was aligned with at the time and they said the amount of deaths in the years to come, attributed to the dust and debris which would bring on cancers, emphysema and lung diseases associated directly with being in the wrong place at wrong time would be staggering...funny never have seen a media report about that...probably not likely to...great tribute!

Mikes right, its tin pan alley, Denmark Street, vaudeville, Brill Building and 42nd street all rolled into one - from a time long gone. Love it! Great vocals as always with your work and production is ace! Great work 10/10!

The beginning sounds reminiscent of Lloyd Webber’s ‘Phantom’, classic and theatrical - fx and vocals on this so good, great unique piece Alexis! Brian Eno and Byrne recorded an actual exorcism and set it to music in 1981 and like this it’s such a classic and og piece!
