great track, lyrics (cool idea btw), vocals and all in all a really cool song, dig the whole vibe of this! yeah, Bowie did a lot of what he called 'cut and paste' re; lyrics (a lot of the song 'Candidate' is just that)

Howdy Glenn...I've always loved this song...I have been a fan of Kris's since day one...... what a very talented spirit... and songwriter.... He will be missed...I'm sure Willie' is missing all his buddies. What a beautiful gathering when "The Highwaymen" get back together in the great sky... Enjoyed listening to you.... Glad I stopped by....
