I came across this instrumental by chance once when I was looking for a surf style tune to play along to. I liked it so much that I just had to record it myself. It's a pretty accurate recreation of the original which is by Martin Cilia.
I used my Yamaha Pacifica 612V mk.1, processed via a Line 6 Pod Go unit to achieve an authentic Hank Marvin / Shadows, lead guitar sound.
There are two acoustic guitar (panned left and right), a clean electric rhythm guitar (centred), a bass guitar (a Crafter Cruiser, P-bass copy)
A Zoom RT-123 Drum Machine (programmed and also played manually, and a couple of Stereo lead guitar tracks with delay and reverb. The tune is at a tempo of 84 bpm. The delay is set to match the tempo. (about 702 ms)
Then of course, I couldn't resist adding a few sound effects...waves, seagulls and bits of the recorded guitars. All in all, I'm very happy with how this has turned out.
