Story behind the song
I wrote this song about my first husband. We married young and the marriage was very challenging. It took 20 years for the "Burning
Flame" of desire for him to finally go away.
This was the first song I recorded at a professional recording studio, along with another song on my CD called, "The Man Upstairs".
It was with, "Mike Johnsons Productions" in Hendersonville, Tenn..
Both of these songs are very special to me because my mother made the trip with me to Nashville and was able to sit in the Studio balcony and watch me singing during my recording session.
We were so excited! The Mike Johnson Studio had done a supreme
job on my songs. Mom and I played them all the way home.
I will never forget it.
